Limited Warranty
Limited Warranty for Preserved Moss Art
Warranty Coverage
WhiteHaus Living offers a limited warranty on all preserved moss art pieces purchased from our store. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of purchase.
What is Covered?
This limited warranty covers:
- Flower Defects: Significant flower defects, including "shattering" (petals falling off on their own) due to natural causes.
- Loose Moss: Unintended detachment of the moss from the backing due to defective adhesion.
What is Not Covered?
This limited warranty does not cover:
- Exposure to Excessive Sunlight: Fading due to placement in direct sunlight or overheated rooms due to indoor heating or UV exposure.
- Water Damage: Damage caused by exposure to water or high humidity.
- Improper Care: Any damage caused by improper handling, cleaning, or physical damage (e.g., squeezing, pressing, or dropping the piece).
- Natural Wear and Tear: Normal aging of the preserved moss, including slight fading or changes in texture over time. This is normal.
- Alterations: Any modifications or repairs not performed by WhiteHaus Living or an authorized representative.
Warranty Claims Process
If you believe your preserved moss art is defective and covered under this limited warranty, please follow these steps:
-
Contact Us: Email us at support@whitehausliving.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the damage or defect.
-
Inspection and Review: Once we receive your request, our team will review the claim. If necessary, we may request additional information or arrange for an inspection of the moss art piece.
-
Resolution: If your claim is approved, we will offer one of the following solutions, at our discretion:
- Repair of the defective piece by sending a repair kit with materials needed.
- Full or partial refund, depending on the extent of the defect caused by WhiteHaus Living. Pictures of all finished pieces are taken and placed on social media. These pictures will be cross-examined with any "defective" pictures submitted by the claimant.
Limitations of Liability
This limited warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. WhiteHaus Living's liability is limited to the repair or partial refund of the product. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to care for the product.
How to Maintain Warranty Validity
To maintain the validity of your warranty:
- Follow the care instructions provided with your purchase.
- Keep the moss art in a dry, indoor environment with indirect light.
- Avoid exposure to water, excessive humidity, or direct sunlight.
Warranty Period
This limited warranty lasts for ONE YEAR from the date of purchase. Any repairs or replacements made under this warranty will not extend the original warranty period.
